Senior Backend Engineer

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Backend Engineer to join our Engineering Team—a team that thrives on adventure, outside-the-box thinking, and reinventing the wheel. As a senior member, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining backend microservices that empower our solutions. Your role will be critical in evolving our architecture and systems to meet the ever-growing demands of the real estate market.

• Develop and maintain backend microservices using Node.js (Typescript) and Python, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Work in tandem with frontend engineers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server logic.
• Influence architectural decisions, contribute to system design, and advocate for best practices in backend scalability.
• Enhance backend services through innovative use of AWS services, employing the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) for infrastructure management.

• At least 3 years of proven backend engineering experience, particularly with Node.js (Typescript) and Python.
• Robust understanding of microservices architecture and the principles of clean code.
• Practical experience with AWS CDK and a solid grasp of cloud-based technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to work with SQL databases such as Postgres or MySQL, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• DevOps proficiency, particularly within the AWS ecosystem, with hands-on experience in Terraform or CDK.
