BY PORTFOLIO ROLE
A triple net lease, commonly called an NNN lease, generally requires the tenant to pay base rent plus its share of property taxes, insurance and operating expenses. The exact allocation, exclusions and reconciliation process depend on the lease.
Even in an NNN structure, not every property cost is necessarily recoverable from the tenant. REAL evaluates actual charges against the governing lease terms.
